The right candidate must be able to accurately set-up, operate Manual and CNC machines, mills, lathes and perform routine maintenance on the equipment. Must have the ability to run multiple machining centers concurrently and work in a team environment or independently. Must possess strong mathematical skills, ability to understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and adjust speeds and feeds to maximize machining productivity. Visual and mechanical inspection of production and inspection logs is required. Assist team members with loading and unloading material, tooling changeovers and set up as needed. Assist team lead in process improvements and cross training. Ability to maintain a safe work environment and follow ISO 9001 procedures and work instructions is required. Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours a week, overtime and on weekends as needed when work load dictates. Successful completion of an apprentice program, and CNC Programming experience is a plus. Experience on Haas ,Mazak and Doosan machining centers is a strong plus. Please indicate preference for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift.
Must be able to lift and move objects up to 35 lbs. without assistance and occasionally up to 75 lbs. following company safety protocol. Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
